MicroSpider Battery
The microSpider Battery is a non-rechargeable lithium pack that can power a microSpider for up to 5 years under normal operating conditions. Two batteries can be installed for up to 10 years of service life. Batteries are fully user-replaceable in the field, making maintenance simple and cost-effective.

The largest contributor to power use is the built-in GSM/NextG modem. Factors that reduce battery life include:
