Halytech Illuminator

Operation

Halytech Illuminator offers an unprecedented level of functionality and simplicity of use.

FACILITY ADMINISTRATORS

Use any standard browser and the familiar "internet-surfing" approach to configure, interrogate and operate a remote Illuminator. Dial directly into the Illuminator, no internet access is required.

INITIAL SETUP

  • Use built-in timers to allow users to activate lights only during certain periods
  • Enter users into the system by giving each one a PIN and deciding which light(s) they can control

ROUTINE OPERATION

  • Download recorded data from Illuminator and use a spreadsheet to prepare usage and billing reports

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Override any user requests and drive lights manually
Send a status request SMS to Illuminator. Illuminator responds with a return SMS showing current sensor readings and ON/OFF state of all lights
Illuminator sends SMS alarm messages triggered by abnormal sensor readings (e.g. intruder, flooding, system failure)

 

USERS

Send your assigned PIN as an SMS message to turn the lights on and off.
If you don't have a mobile phone, use the keypad to enter your assigned PIN and turn the lights on and off.
